I’m sure by now, your all privy to the fact that the release of Fortnite Season 10 was not without the odd few bumps in the road. Most notably, concerning the Kinect. And, the various performance-based stability issues encountered upon release. Also, the new mech posed problems in both Playground and Creative. Whereby players movement speed was, supposedly affected.

That aside, the Fortnite Season 10 Patch update attempts to address those concerns. And, of course, iron out any glaring kinks. After all, Fortnite has in place, a long-term commitment to ensuring its player base is cared for and appreciated.

Above all else, and despite a small dose of vexing issues, there’s plenty to get excited about in the Fortnite Season 10 patch update. On that note, below, is a detailed account of what’s in store for fans of Epic Game’s genre-defining battle-royale. So, without delay, let’s nosedive right into this!

In truth, each new season brings with it, a slew of changes across the board. With that in mind, the Fortnite Season 10 patch update adheres to that pledge. And thus, doesn’t slack on content either. Besides, Epic Games want to keep the punters firmly on their side, after all.

One of the more significant additions to Fortnite is the B.R.U.T.E suit; a vehicle designed to encourage cooperative play. The unit allows one player to man the turret, while the other controls movement.

On top of that, there’ve been a handful of crucial system overhauls to challenges through the Fortnite Season 10 patch update. As of now, Epic Games has scrapped daily challenges. Instead, opting for limited time events. Those of which go live daily. But are switched out for other mission types towards the tail-end of each week.

In other, more depressing news, regular weekly challenges are only accessible for Battle-Pass subscribers. Meaning, it’s more of a pay to play scenario this time around. That is if you want to unlock all those enticing cosmetics and rewards.

Now then, each Season of Fortnite is thematically different from the last. All in a bid to prolong player participation. This time around, there are Rift Zones, caused by the devastating effects of a Zero Point Explosion. These mysterious zones, which populate various regions of the map, bring back environmental features from the past. Perfect, for all those nostalgia-junkies out there.

For instance, the comet which once impacted the map now hovers ominously over its target destination. And so, as of now, the earlier, aptly named Dusty Divot, goes by the name of Dusty Depot.

The Fortnite Season 10 patch update also ushers in a host of bug fixes and subtle tweaks designed to enhance performance. Most of which are quality of life improvements regarding Weapons and movement. As a result, all campfires now heal vehicles. Better still, the heavy shotgun is now able to penetrate through the water. Furthermore, the exploit, which increases hip-shot accuracy with the Storm Scout Sniper Rifle, is now a thing of the past.
