CD Project Red announced that an anime series set in the same universe as “Cyberpunk 2077” will be created in cooperation with Netflix and the Japanese studio Trigger. The premiere is scheduled for 2022.
Called Cyberpunk Edgerunners, the series is being created by Trigger Studio, the team behind Kill la Kill, Little Witch Academia and many other anime shows, while Silent Hill composer Akira Yamaoka will handle its score.

It’s called big news – CD Project Red announced that it will create an anime series set in the universe of “Cyberpunk 2077”. The series will be developed by a Polish company and the renowned Japanese Studio Trigger, and the production will be shown by Netflix:

Cyberpunk: Edgerunners, as the series will be called, will focus on the fate of a street kid who tries to survive in a world obsessed with new technologies and body modifications. In order to save his life, the hero will become an outlawed outcast – that is, the title “edgerunner”.
The series will consist of 1o episodes and its premiere is scheduled for 2022. Earlier, in November this year, we will have the premiere of the game “Cyberpunk 2077”.
